The Blaye region is 50km north of Bordeaux. The soils are clayey-chalky with hillsides and plateaus, the vineyards are located on one of the highest points in the Blaye area therefore exposing them to perfect growing conditions. The 54 hectares of vines are facing the Gironde estuary and the Margaux appellation. 75% Merlot 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Malbec of which are all very low yields promoting excellent concentration of flavours, magnificent red berry notes flood the palate balanced with ripe tannins and good use of oak.
